Caregiver Requirements at Happy Feelings Home Health Care:
To join our team, all caregivers must meet the following requirements:
• Background Check: Must pass a state and federal background check.
• Valid Identification: Provide two forms of ID (state ID, driver’s license, social security card).
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
• Certifications (if applicable): CNA, HHA, CPR, or First Aid encouraged but not required.
• Onboarding Completion: Must complete agency onboarding documents, including policy acknowledgments and emergency procedures.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Communication: Ability to speak, read, and write in English to follow care plans and communicate with staff and clients.
• Professionalism: Must maintain a respectful, dependable, and compassionate attitude at all times.
